Curriculum
The Georgia Standards of Excellence in Visual Arts are intended to teach our students skills related to each of the following Artistic Processes:
- Creating (CR)
- Presenting (PR)
- Connecting (CN)
- Responding (RE)
Throughout the year, I will craft lessons intended to integrate various standards from art and academic content. The following units are not linear. Multiple units will be taught simultaneously and allow students to explore various themes and types of ART!
- Unit 1 - What is ART/the language of ART
- Unit 2 - Creating 2-D ART
- Unit 3 - Creating 3-D ART
- Unit 4 - ARTists as part of the community, culture, and craft
