Daily Learning Resources

We will use the following resources daily in class. They can also be accessed from home. 

Make sure you are familiar with the sites below.

Class Dojo:

Class Dojo will be the main form of communication for this school year. I will use this platform to communicate whole-group announcements, as well as individual messages. It will also be used to track daily behavior--positives and need improvements--and for you to receive important updates.  

                                                             

Google Classroom:

Here you will find daily instructional videos, which will accompany the posted lesson plans in the “Calendar” section of my website. There will also be activities and assignments posted here. You can access your email address and Google Meet through this link.

 

 

 

Benchmark Workshop
This is our new literacy program and it is fabulous! I cannot wait to get started and see what each student will accomplish with this program. It includes reading and writing strategies, phonics, and grammar. It is going to be a GREAT year in literacy!! It can be accessed through Clever. 

Achieve 3000
Achieve 3000 is site we will use weekly. The expectation is for students to complete and graph at least 2 articles a week at school. Students may use this site at home as a tool to continue and grow their Lexile scores. The goal is for all students to make a 75% or better on their first try on the article being read. Please encourage your student to always do his/her best! It can be accessed through Clever. 

IXL Login:

Glynn County purchased IXL as a resource for ELA and Math. We will use this site weekly to practice grade-level ELA & math skills. In addition, if students are having a difficult time with a concept and being served by an EIP teacher, this program will be used as a way to remediate learning. It will act as an assessment tool as well.
