Standard(s):3.NBT.1 Use place value understanding to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100.

LT: We are learning to round to the nearest ten and hundred.

SC: I am successful when I can use a vertical number line to round two-and three-digit numbers to the nearest ten.

Lesson/Activity: Module 2 Lesson 13 Round two - and  three - digit numbers to the nearest ten on the vertical number line.

Standard(s):S3E2a & b

S3E2.

LT: I am learning how fossils are evidence of past organisms and their environments.

SC: ❑ I can observe fossils to gather evidence of past organisms.

❑ I can make predictions of an organisms environment based on other fossils present.

❑ I can describe past environments by observing fossils from that time and place.

Lesson/Activity:How a fossil is formed (activity).
