Glynn County Schools plan to provide a centralized vaccination clinic for school district employees through a collaboration with the public health department.
For the past five weeks, Kim Hanson’s P.E. class at Sterling Elementary has offered a haven of joy where students could forget the stresses of a pandemic that has changed many aspects of their school day.
The Sterling students were gathered to prepare for the upcoming Virtual Elementary Honor Chorus, for which they will each record their own performances that will be blended with those of 100 students across the state.
Parents and guardians who have a child that will attend public school in Glynn County for the first time next school year are encouraged to register their child now for school in August. The 2021-2022 school year will begin on Tuesday, August 10.
