LT

We are learning to record perimeter and area data on line plots.

We are learning to record perimeter and area data on line plots.

We are learning to construct rectangles with a given perimeter using unit squares and determine their areas.

We are learning Geometry and measurement word problems.

SC

I am successful when I can construct rectangles to determine perimeter.

-I can estimate to draw and label side lengths of a rectangle.

I am successful when I can use unit squares to construct rectangles and record data on line plots.

-I can complete charts to show how many rectangles can be made with a given number of square units.

-I can create a line plot.

I am successful when I can use centimeter grid paper, shade and label as many rectangles as I can.

-I can find the area of each rectangle drawn.

-I can use a chart to label rectangles I shaded for each given perimeter.

I am successful when I can show my understanding of solving word problems, attributes of two-dimensional figures, problem solving with perimeter, record perimeter and area on line plots, and problem solving with perimeter and area.
