Recognize that comparisons are valid only when two fractions refer to the same whole. Record the results of comparisons with the symbols >,=, or <, and justify the conclusions, e.g. by using a visual fraction model. 

LT: We are learning to compare unit fractions and specify the whole. 

SC:I am successful when I can model the corresponding whole when given one equal part.  

-I can draw a picture of the designated unit fraction copies to make at least two different wholes.  

-I can label the unit fractions. 

-I can label the whole as 1.  

-I can draw at least one number bond that matches a drawing.
