-I can write and solve an equation to find the perimeter of a shape. 

-I can find the perimeter of the shaded rectangle.

-I can use unit squares to build as many rectangles within a given area. 

-I can shade the squares on grid paper to represent each rectangle.

-I can create a line plot to display how many rectangles can be made with a given number of unit squares.
