SC: I am successful when I can use all four operations to solve problems involving perimeter. -I can label unknown lengths. -I can write and solve an equation to find the perimeter of a shape. -I can find the perimeter of the shaded rectangle. Lesson/Activity: Module 7 Lesson 17 Standard(s): LT: SC: Lesson/Activity: Standard(s): SS3E1a, SS3E1b ,SS3E1c ,SS3E1d ,SS3E2 ,SS3E3a, SS3E3b, SS3E3c,SS3E3d,SS3E4 LT: SC: - Lesson/Activity: Students will then complete the Goods and Services cut and paste. Tuesday - May 16 Standard(s): 3.MD.4, 3.MD.8 LT: We are learning to construct rectangles from a given number of unit squares and determine the perimeters. SC: I am successful when I can construct rectangles from a given number of unit squares and determine the perimeters. -I can use unit squares to build as many rectangles within a given area. -I can shade the squares on grid paper to represent each rectangle. Lesson/Activity: Module 7 Lesson 18 Standard(s): LT: SC: Lesson/Activity: Standard(s): S3E1a, SS3E1b ,SS3E1c ,SS3E1d ,SS3E2 ,SS3E3a, SS3E3b, SS3E3c,SS3E3d,SS3E4 LT: SC: Lesson/Activity: Within their groups have students complete the thinking map about Supply and Demand. See pages 5 and 6 of the attached. They can complete on chart paper. Wednesday - May 17 Standard(s): 3.MD.4, 3.MD.8 LT: We are learning to use a line plot to record the number of rectangles constructed from a given number of unit squares. SC: I can use unit square tiles to make rectangles with a given number of unit squares. -I can create a line plot to display how many rectangles can be made with a given number of unit squares. Lesson/Activity: Module 7 Lesson 19 Standard(s): LT: SC: Lesson/Activity: Standard(s): S3E1a, SS3E1b ,SS3E1c ,SS3E1d ,SS3E2 ,SS3E3a, SS3E3b, SS3E3c,SS3E3d,SS3E4 LT: SC: Lesson/Activity: Students will then complete the Wants and Needs cut and paste. Thursday - May 18 Standard(s): 3.MD.4, 3.MD.8 LT: We are learning to construct rectangles with a given perimeter using unit squares and determine their areas. SC: I can use unit tiles to build as many rectangles with a given perimeter. -I can draw rectangles and label the side lengths of each rectangle. -I can explain the strategy used for finding rectangles with a given perimeter. -I can find the area of the rectangles. SC: - I can shade and label as many rectangles with a given perimeter. -I can find the area of each rectangle drawn.
