Solve practical, relevant problems involving multiplication and division within 100 using part-whole strategies, visual representations, and/or concrete models. LT: We are developing our understanding of multiplication. We are learning to solve multiplication problems within 100. SC: I can write a multiplication equation I can represent the unknown with a letter I can solve a multiplication problem I can explain and justify the solution. Lesson/Activity: Module 1 Lesson 5 Students select strategies to represent and solve multiplication word problems by using drawings and equations. Standard:: SS3G1 Locate major topographical features on a physical map of the United States. LT: I am learning to identify and label the major rivers in the United States on a map. SC: I can locate the major rivers of the United States of America on a physical map. I can identify where these rivers begin and end on a map. I can identify the regions where each of these rivers is located.
