Lesson/Activities: 

Students will be given a copy of a released GMAS practice item–Levi Strauss’s story. Analyzation of the text and questions will be completed. After discussion, students will work on creating a narrative response about the topic in one sitting.

ELA GMAS Day 1

Literacy centers to follow.

Students will be given the passage “Dr. Dolittle” with the accompanying questions and prompt. Students will work through the process to complete the task and write a narrative ending. This is to be completed in one sitting.
